Wow! That just popped up in my email, huge and regal. I didn’t realize the eyes were so deep-set. Love the shadow slicing the iris.

There’s also a line running from the nostril down across the beak, is that normal?

I think that is a scratch. Normal considering the scrapes such a large bird gets into.
