Excuse my ignorance but is a crow and a raven the same thing?

They are both Corvids but different species. Ravens are bigger, scruffier, more powerful, with a huge vocabulary of sounds. Crows, at least in California, are their sleeker, smaller billed, cousins. Perhaps I’ll do a compare contrast post one day.

Feel free to draw it as long as it is for non-commercial purposes. I’m glad you like the image. I do keep track of my photographs and how they are used online so please make sure you properly credit your drawing if you do share it online. Thank you.
