BLW will be back soon. I returned home to find that AT&T has disconnected my service yet again even though I enrolled in auto-pay to keep BLW on the air. Now I must enter into the phone tree labyrinth of disappointment and frustration to attempt to find Internet service again. Last time it took 5 weeks. We shall see…

That is all… for now.

I’m sorry to hear this. I just dealt with AT&T when they disconnected my 90-year-old mom’s phone. I hope you’re back with your photos and adventures very soon!

In some areas of SF you can get Sonic.net. Their customer service is unbeatable! Good price too!

    • I actually have Sonic and they have been great. But I can’t have dsl without a land line from AT&T and therein lies the problem. They own this area.

I understand your frustration. I’ve had awful problems with AT&T. I finally disconnected my land line and switched from DSL to U-verse, which does not require a land line. Their customer service is awful and billing is a mess. I had auto pay that went to the wrong location and one day after the due date, they started hounding me and threatening to shut off my service until we figured out where the check was – just awful. I’m looking to switch to a better service. Good luck Walter. We’ll miss BLW until then.

Looks like you have a lot of sympathetic company here, we all have had trouble dealing with such a huge immovable monopoly. Good luck with this, we’ll be glad to see you back when it’s over.
