Check out my 2nd post about this urban Red-tailed Hawk over at 10,000 Birds.

Seeing that photo with Patch, juxtaposed against the construction site, it’s hard not to think of the recent case of the Red-tailed Hawk that Wild Rescue finally caught and cared for in SF. The intersection of urban and wild is one of my favorite themes, especially in the Bay Area where there’s so much restoration and regeneration for the wild things. Beautiful series, Walter. Looking forward to the next part.
