Harbour Seal

I don’t know why I’m fond of the British way of spelling harbour and colour, and behaviour. Spell check always chastises me for it but I never learn. Maybe I secretly narrate every post as Sir David Attenborough. This Harbour Seal was curious enough to follow my canoe for a long while on a day in which low clouds rendered everything quite colourless. It was interesting behaviour to witness nonetheless.

  1. You need to talk PBS into putting together something as cool as the BBC did with Life on Earth. Then of course you’ll need people to help you film it. 🙂

  2. I hear you about the British Spelling! . Seals used to live under the house we grew up in in NZ. Little ones anyway. But, the sea does not wash that high anymore. Now they have sea lions wandering about on the beach terrorising the local dogs!! Seems fair.
